Installation of convex road mirrors on Waduvegama Road
As part of the Community Services initiative Ocean Lanka recently installed 3 convex road mirrors at dangerous road bends on the Waduvegama Road and the road leading to the company dormitory. The efforts of the company were supported by the Biyagama Police Station and the mirrors were a welcome sight for the motorists who used these roads.
Donation of Plastic Chairs for charitable organizations in Biyagama
In an event organized by the Biyagama Police, Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd donated over 50 plastic chairs to charitable organizations and religious institutes within the Biyagama area. In total over 500 plastic chairs were distributed at the event held recently.
Donation of school stationary items to Daham Pasal Students
Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd recently donated school stationary to Daham Pasal students at the Mulleriyawa Neelamallikaramaya Temple and the Seruwavila Dehiwatta Temple. School stationary items in the value of over Rs: 225,000/- were distributed amongst more than 125 students.
